Armenian Public Television's program can now be viewed in Europe, North America, and Australia. Since February 2005, the pan-Armenian television station's satellite broadcast is made possible by the newest modern satellite technologies. In Europe, our programs are broadcasted through EutelSat W1 and Hot Bird 6 satellites. In the United States, Intelsat Americas 5 is the satellite used. Today, Public TV has the largest broadcasting network. We are one of the only television stations in the world that has as many viewers abroad, as within our own nation.
In 2001, the contract between Public Television and Globecast resulted in Armenian programs being broadcasted through satellite in the USA and Canada. Taking into consideration the broadcasting varieties in the United States, the Pan-Armenian television station is broadcasted in two methods. Viewers must either install their own satellite receiver and connect to the Intelsat Americas 5 satellite, or they can subscribe to Charter Systems network.
